God radically saved Chico from the street life of drugs and violence in 1996 at the age of 21. Today the Atchison family ministers in the remote mountain regions of central Mexico, establishing churches and training indigenous leaders. Their work takes them through miles of hidden highland roads and trails. Chico began working with Freedom Ministries in 1999 before marrying Kaci in 2004. They have three boys and live in Huejutla de Reyes, Veracruz.
