Children’s Lunchrooms
El Salvador

In 2023, Osvaldo and Abigail initiated the creation of the first lunchroom for children in El Salvador. Presently, they operate more than 12 lunchrooms, providing meals to over 1,000 children each month. Their vision was to create a welcoming space where children could enjoy nutritious meals in a nurturing environment. Understanding the importance of proper nutrition in a child's development, they aimed to provide not just food, but a sense of community and belonging.

With the support of local volunteers, the lunchroom quickly became a vibrant hub of love and activity. Children from various neighborhoods gather to share meals, laughter, and stories. They also cultivate friendships and most importantly, receive spiritual nourishment. Osvaldo & Abigail's initiative not only addressed hunger but also inspired a movement towards sustainable community development, where every child had the opportunity to thrive.
